Folding Rail Option Provides Ideal Solution A narrow hallway or doorway at the bottom of your stairs does not preclude the installation of the handsome Electra-Ride Elite. Simply include the optional Folding Rail, and any tripping hazard vanishes! In the unfolded position, the rail and folding rail section automatically latch and align properly. When the special locking lever is released, a gas spring is activated for feather-light operation. The bottom section of rail moves up and out of the way. Simple, convenient, effortless. A third charging station allows you to charge the Elite at the top, bottom and even when the rail is folded.
